LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Some people think that a real estate agent has to know houses. I believe that a competent Realtor really has to know people as well as houses. Understanding and caring about people allows me to more quickly match buyer’s and seller’s needs, resulting in transactions that succeed for everyone.

Bringing extensive business experience to my real estate career, I am a member of The Gold Team as well as a Lifetime member of Chairman’s Club ($10 million in sales for more than 5 consecutive years). In 2006, I was recognized as being in the Top 100 agents for the entire Long & Foster Company of more than 9000 agents.

Many sellers and buyers have cited my service "above and beyond," garnering me the Long and Foster Service Award more than a dozen times in the last two years. This distinction gives me special satisfaction. I have given real estate seminars to the public and advanced skills courses to my colleagues.

In 1993, I successfully earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation. The GRI is a nationally recognized designation attained after completing a rigorous program of course work and examinations.

I bring to my real estate career over 35 years of people-business experience. Prior to my real estate career, I had 18 years experience training adults in all phases of written, oral, and interpersonal communication. I have a Master’s degree from George Mason in Education and English.

Having purchased four homes myself, I understand buyer’s and seller’s anxieties and needs. I work with my clients to help smooth over the emotional tricky spots. I believe service does not stop at either contract acceptance or at settlement. As a result of my sincere interest and service, 95% of my business is comprised of repeat clients and their referrals.
